Building Washdown from Byron Bay to Brisbane

UP 2 Cleaning provides commercial building exterior washdowns across the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The agreed scope can include facades, accessible awnings, entries and hard-surface surrounds. Each surface is assessed separately so cleaning pressure, treatment and access suit the existing finish.

For commercial and strata jobs, we travel from Byron Bay through the Gold Coast to Brisbane. Tell us your suburb so we can confirm scope and scheduling.

A property-wide view helps prioritise the areas that affect presentation and coordinate work across mixed surfaces. The agreed scope identifies what will be cleaned, how it can be reached and how occupants will be considered.

Your questions.
Clear answers.

Planning building washdown? These details help define the scope before work is scheduled.

Will it affect the paint?

This depends on the age, condition and integrity of the painted surface. We cannot guarantee that existing paint will be unaffected, particularly if it is already flaking, chalking or poorly bonded. We assess the finish first and use lower-pressure softwashing where suitable, with treatment matched to the surface. Any visible concerns and limitations are discussed before work begins.

What do we need to do before you arrive to clean?

Close windows and doors, and let us know about any areas where you know or think water may leak. Move furniture, vehicles and items that need to stay dry away from the agreed cleaning areas. Ensure clear access to water and the surfaces being cleaned, and let us know about sensitive fixtures or existing damage.

For occupied properties, coordinate with tenants or residents and keep people and pets away from the work area. We'll confirm any site-specific preparation and access arrangements before the clean.

Can one building washdown include different exterior materials?

Yes, different materials can be included in a single agreed scope when they are suitable and accessible. Render, painted surfaces and concrete may need different treatments. Coating condition, height and access are assessed before the method is confirmed.
